CRYSTALYX® Brand Supplements

Competitive Comparisons Chart

An effective part of a cattle nutrition program:

  • Improved forage utilization
  • More control over grazing patterns
  • Improved body condition
  • Enhanced reproductive and growth performance
  • Low cost per-head, per-day supplementation

Why Supplement?

Short-changing cows on nutrition can be costly. Nutrient value of forage and grasses can vary greatly with the season and maturity of various forages. Forage and grass from range or pastures often times cannot provide enough protein, minerals, vitamins and trace minerals. Many of today's genetically advanced cattle, bred for a value-based market, often have nutrient requirements far beyond what forages alone can provide.

CRYSTALYX® Supplements create an improved environment to support the growth of rumen microbes. Forages and key nutrients are more thoroughly digested and utilized by the animal.

Continuous Nutrient Availability

CRYSTALYX® Supplements are good insurance that required nutrients are continuously available 24/7 to your cows as they are needed.

Your cattle consume essential nutrients, simply by licking the highly palatable surface that softens once exposed to the environment. CRYSTALYX® cannot be bitten, chewed or over-consumed due to the naturally self-limiting nature of the product.

Typically, a mature cow will consume one-half to one pound of supplement per-day, depending on size and weight of cattle and type of forages available. One 250-pound barrel fed free-choice for every 20 to 30 head of cattle is recommended.
