CRYSTALYX® HE-20%™ is a high energy supplement with
more crude protein than CRYSTALYX® HE-12%™ and can
be safely fed to all classes of cattle. HE-20%™ is designed
to provide supplemental energy, protein, macro minerals, trace
minerals and vitamins. The continuous nutrient availability
of HE-20%™ can enhance forage utilization. It delivers
supplemental crude protein in the form of amino acids and
non-protein nitrogen (ammonia). Ammonia (produced from urea)
is required by rumen microorganisms for growth and fiber digestion
and amino acids from natural proteins (the building blocks
of protein) can further enhance forage utilization. If cattle
have a high protein requirement, or if excessively low protein
forage is being consumed, CRYSTALYX® NP-27™,
BGF-30™ or HP-40™ Supplements may be more effective
in maximizing forage utilization.
