CRYSTALYX® WHEAT-LYX® is a free-choice supplement designed
to be fed to cattle grazing winter forages such as wheat,
ryegrass and oat pastures. WHEAT-LYX® contains extra calcium
and magnesium in a highly palatable form to encourage supplement
intake when cattle are typically content to consume forage
only. Wheat pasture is marginally deficient in magnesium and
calcium, which are the primary causes of wheat pasture poisoning.
WHEAT-LYX® provides supplemental nutrients to help reduce
the effect of low magnesium and calcium, along with the many
proposed interactions between minerals and highly degradable
protein contained in wheat pasture.
