Q: Is STABLE-LYX® safe for cattle?
A: Yes, STABLE-LYX® is safe for equine and cattle. However, we do not recommend STABLE-LYX® for cattle.

Q: Will the increased salt levels in STABLE-LYX® that help control intake, have any negative effects on my horses?
A: No. Horses will reduce their consumption of STABLE-LYX® when their satiety for salt has been reached. Be sure you provide unrestricted access to clean, fresh water at all times as their water intake will often increase.

Q: Will horses confined to stables consume more STABLE-LYX® than pastured horses?
A: In many cases, stabled horses will consume a higher level of STABLE-LYX® than pastured horses. Recent formulation changes have resulted in greater control of intake when horses are confined to small pens or stables. You should still monitor intake and make sure daily consumption does not exceed three (3) lbs/hd/day.

Q: Is STABLE-LYX® safe for sheep?
A: No, the copper level is toxic to sheep. SHEEP-LYX™ is recommended.
