Michigan Producer Improves Conception Rates

Wally Yordy was not getting the breeding efficiency rates he wanted. Yordy has a herd of 90 beef cows, primarily Angus, near Ashley, Michigan. He began using CRYSTALYX® BGF-30™ 6 years ago. The local Hubbard Feeds dealer, MAC, in Middleton, Michigan was the first to recommend CRYSTALYX® to Yordy. What began six years ago as an experiment is now a permanent part of the Yordy beef operation.
"We now use Crystalyx® BGF-30™ all year round," Wally says. "At first I didn't think I would use the product very long because of the cost, but with the breed back on cows, and with calves that get right up to nurse after calving, I wanted to keep using it and I do."
Yordy says conception rates for his cows have improved to well above 90 percent.
