If the election were held today, at Ken Hachmeister's operation at least, it would be a landslide for CRYSTALYX® Brand Supplements. Ken has been using CRYSTALYX® supplements for over 4 years in his cattle operation near Natoma, Kansas.
He supplements his new calves in a creep pen with BRIGADE® Stress Fighting Formula, starting when they are about a month old. Ken also uses BRIGADE® at least 30 days prior to artificially inseminating his first calf heifers. He has experienced excellent breeding results this year and has yet to use his clean-up bull. "I'm excited to see what the results will be from this group of heifers," Ken says.
Given his successful experience using BGF-30™ with his first calf heifers, Ken started using BGF-30™ during July to help his cows get more from the available grass. He will switch to BRIGADE® Stress Fighting Formula 30 days prior to the start of their breeding season.
Ken and his three sons are feeding BRIGADE® to prepare 4 show calves for their county fair. They are hoping to qualify at least one calf for the Kansas State Fair this fall.
