BSB R11 Quarter Horse farm is own and operated by Kim Rotenberry and Shelley Donovan in Sturgis, MI. The farm consists of a large breeding facility with 60 horses and four breeding stallions. STABLE-LYX® was implemented into their breeding program 9 years ago and Rotenberry and Donovan feel it has contributed to their success.
Within the breeding program, the stages of horse they feed vary from foals to pregnant mares to breeding stallions and yearlings. The addition of STABLE-LYX® has improved breeding conditions and the general appearance of their horses.
“Our mares get to foal faster and STABLE-LYX® has helped with our conception rates,” Donovan said.
“Zippo (breeding stallion) has been on STABLE-LYX® for years and he looks great,” Rotenberry said. “ You can’t tell by looking at him that he is 24 years old.”
