"It slicks them up and helps calm them down."
BANE ROBERTSON
Paris, KY
CRYSTALYX® products are excellent for beef producers with a limited labor supply, says Bane Robertson who raises crossbred cattle near Paris, Ky. "If time is a major value and you don't have a lot of hands, then Beef-lyx® is an excellent product," he said. "It's not a supplement that must be brought out daily."
Robertson has also found that Beef-lyx® does an excellent job of getting cattle ready to sell. "It slicks them up and helps calm them down." As the cattle get used to coming into one area for the blocks, they tend to be calmer when you need to work them or when it comes to time to sell them, he adds. And calmer cattle mean more pounds to sell at market.
