 Les Herman and his son Greg own Herman Ranch in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. They buy yearlings and have run a cow/calf herd for 15 years. They have used CRYSTALYX® from the beginning. Their operation consists of wide open pastures and the BioBarrel® biodegradable factor was of interest to them. It is a convenient option for their ranch. They place the product out in areas where they feed hay through the winter. Les believes that his herd’s health and calving success is a result of the nutritional aspects of CRYSTALYX®.
Les thought there might be a problem with moisture and the biodegradable aspect of the BioBarrel®, but there wasn’t. Les always looks at costs and what the economics of returning a barrel is versus having a biodegradable option. Les is pleased with the final results and the advantages of the BioBarrel®.
