John W. Jones first turned to CRYSTALYX® HE-20%™ during a winter when grass was plentiful - but old and dry. "Once the rains came and the grass greened up, that's when I really noticed the influence of the supplementation. Those yearling calves really took off and gained well on native grass in the spring," said the Brady, Texas, cattleman and banker. In addition to the product's natural protein and convenience, Jones was also pleased the program cost less than 25¢ per-head, per-day.
Jones has also used CRYSTALYX® in a pre-breeding nutrition program for his bulls. He says the bulls were in very strong breeding shape when they were turned out with the cows.
