Glenn Fontenot of Ville Platte, LA, has been in the quarter horse business for over 25 years. Currently, he has 15 mares and two stallions.

Typically, Glenn's horses graze good Bermuda grass with about 15 pounds of grain per-head, daily, during gestation and lactation. The addition of Stable-lyx^® Supplement, a CRYSTALYX^® Brand Supplement formulated specifically for equines, has led Glenn to see some important changes in his mares.

"The mares have increased their milk production, and body condition has improved," he said.

"I am most impressed with the fact that our conception rate has improved from 87% to 92% with Stable-lyx^®."

Glenn indicates the conception rates of the first foal heat periods have been 50-60%, but with the addition of Stable-lyx^®, the percentage has increased to 75% on first foal heat.
