  1. Placement

    Place containers in areas that achieve desired supplement intake.

  2. Relocation

    CRYSTALYX Blueprint Dry Cow Formula block supplement is designed for self-feeding at the start of the dry period, along with a long-stem, low calcium forage.

  3. Accessibility

    A minimum of two containers may be necessary in each lot or pasture to ensure proper accessibility.

  4. Quantity

    Feed at the rate of one container for every 20-30 head. Dairy cattle typically consume between 140 and 340 grams per head per day.

  5. Monitoring

    Self-fed consumption will depend on size of animals fed, seasonal weather conditions, as well as quality, source, and availability of other feeds.
