Place containers near water source or feed bunks, preferably elevated from ground level to minimize contamination with dirt and other foreign materials that may discourage consumption. Place containers in areas that achieve desired supplement intake.
Once acceptable intake levels have been achieved, the containers may be moved to underutilized pasture areas to improve grazing distribution and forage utilization.
Feed at the rate of one container for every 20-30 head, with a minimum of two (2) containers in each lot or pasture to ensure proper accessibility.
Calves typically consume between 1 and 4 ounces per head per day. Growing and mature cattle typically consume between 0.25 and 0.75 pounds per head per day.
CRYSTALYX BLUEPRINT BATTALION supplement is designed for self-feeding to calves, growing cattle and mature beef cattle fed moderate to high protein forages. Blueprint Battalion is fortified with electrolytes and high levels of vitamins and BIOPLEX organic trace minerals to help overcome nutritional stress associated with shipping, weaning and breeding. Self-fed consumption will depend on size of animals fed, as well as quality, source and availability of other feeds.
