Product ComparisonFeeding Instructions
Locate where cattle congregate (watering, loafing, shade areas).
Offer cattle one block for every 15 to 25 head. Cattle should consume an average of 0.8 oz per 100 lbs of animal body weight per day, equivalent to 8 oz per day for a 1,000-lb cow.
Prevents the emergence of house flies, horn flies, face flies and stable flies from manure of treated cattle.
Active Ingredient: Diflubenzuron (CAS #35367-38-5) 0.02% (contains 90.8 mg of diflubenzuron per pound). Diflubenzuron Group 15 Insecticide. EPA Reg. No. 89459-7-7698. EPA Est. No. 7698-KY-002H, 7698-MN-003B, 7698-SD-003A, 7698-TX-001D.
Provide as a free choice source of minerals for your cattle. Start feeding early in the spring before flies appear and continue through summer and into fall until cold weather restricts fly activity. Existing adult flies will not be affected. Ensure cattle are not starved for nutrients prior to feeding. Remove all other self-limiting nutritional supplements. Do not use in association with feeds containing supplemental selenium. If intake is below 0.8 oz per 100 lb body weight per day, increase or relocate feeding locations to areas more frequented by cattle; if above, reduce or relocate to less-frequented areas. Introduction after adult fly infestation is established may require supplemental sprays.
WARNING: This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or any species that have a low tolerance to supplemental copper.
