Overview

CRYSTALYX Hi-Mag Fescue-lyx is formulated to be self-fed to cattle consuming fescue forages with low magnesium levels. It is energy dense and highly fortified with trace minerals and vitamins.

  • Intended to be fed to cattle consuming fescue forages with low magnesium levels or pastures with high potassium concentrations, which can interfere with magnesium absorption

  • Formulated with 20% crude protein

  • A 0.5-pound intake of Hi-Mag Fescue-lyx will supply 10 grams of supplemental magnesium

  • Contains Bioplex® organic trace minerals, which are formulated to be more readily absorbed and bioavailable to the animal

Practical guidance for optimal herd performance

Placement

Place containers in areas that achieve desired supplement intake.

Relocation

Once acceptable intake levels have been achieved, the containers may be moved to underutilized pasture areas to improve grazing distribution and forage utilization.

Accessibility

A minimum of two (2) containers may be necessary in each lot or pasture to ensure proper accessibility.

Quantity

Feed at the rate of one container for every 20-30 head. Cattle typically consume between 0.25 and 0.75 pound per head per day. One-half pound of HI-MAG Fescue-lyx will supply 10 grams of supplemental magnesium.

CRYSTALYX HI-MAG Fescue-lyx supplement is designed for self-feeding to grazing beef cattle.
