Overview

CRYSTALYX SuperMAG is a highly palatable, high magnesium, nutrient-dense, low-moisture blend of molasses solids, protein meal, hydrolyzed vegetable oil, vitamins and macro and micro minerals.

  • Designed to be offered self-feeding to beef cattle grazing low-magnesium forages

  • Formulated with 20% crude protein

  • A 0.5-pound intake will supply 10 grams of supplemental magnesium, and a 0.75-pound intake will supply 15 grams of supplemental magnesium

  • Contains Bioplex® organic trace minerals, which are formulated to be more readily absorbed and bioavailable to the animal

Practical guidance for optimal herd performance

Placement

Place containers in areas that achieve desired supplement intake.

Relocation

Once acceptable intake levels have been achieved, the containers may be moved to underutilized pasture areas to improve grazing distribution and forage utilization.

Accessibility

A minimum of two (2) containers may be necessary in each free stall pen, lot or pasture to ensure proper accessibility.

Quantity

Feed at the rate of one container for every 20-30 head. Cattle typically consume between 0.25 and 1.1 pounds per head per day, providing 5-22 grams of supplemental magnesium per head per day.
