CRYSTALYX Crystal-Phos 8 is a unique, nutrient dense, palatable, self-fed mineral supplement designed to complement the mineral composition of grass or legume forages. Crystal-Phos is unchallenged in terms of uniform consistent mineral delivery regardless of any abusive weather conditions.

Crystal-Phos 8 is specifically formulated with organic/chelated trace minerals and other micro ingredients to help beef cows re-breed in a timely manner, especially high demand breeding programs such as estrus synchronization, embryo transfer or purebred cattle operations.

Feeding Instructions

CRYSTALYX Crystal-Phos 8 mineral supplement is designed for self-feeding to grazing beef cattle.  Use as a source of calcium, phosphorus, vitamins and trace minerals when forage crude protein is not limiting.  This product does not provide enough supplemental magnesium to aid in the prevention of grass tetany.

Place containers in areas that achieve desired supplement intake.  Once acceptable intake levels have been achieved, the containers may be moved to underutilized pasture areas to improve grazing distribution and forage utilization. Feed at the rate of one container for every 40-75 head of mature animals. A minimum of two (2) containers may be necessary in each pasture to ensure proper accessibility.  Self-fed consumption will depend on the number of animals per container, the size of the animals, seasonal weather conditions, as well as quality, source and availability of other feeds.  Cattle may consume from 2 to 8 ounces per head per day.  Cattle should typically consume 4 ounces per head per day.  Manage the number of animals per container to achieve a 4 ounce intake per head per day.

NOTE:  CRYSTALYX Brand Supplements deliver a continuous supply of nutrients and are designed as a supplement to the animal's diet.  When quantity or quality of other feedstuffs is limited, supplemental nutrients in addition to those provided by CRYSTALYX Brand Supplements may be required.  In situations where additional nutrients are needed, contact your feed representative for specific recommendations.

WARNING: This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or any species that have a low tolerance to supplemental copper.

CAUTION:  USE ONLY AS DIRECTED. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 3 mg per head daily.
