Product Features
CRYSTALYX NP-20 is designed as a self-fed supplement for moderate quality hay, early and late season pastures, ammonia treated forages and rations with added non-protein nitrogen.
Use NP-20 for cattle requiring high levels of bypass protein, such as rapidly growing calves, developing bulls and replacement heifers and mature cows between late gestation and breeding.
Feeding Instructions
CRYSTALYX NP-20 supplement is designed for self-feeding to all classes of beef cattle. Use NP-20 when higher levels of rumen undegradable protein (bypass protein) are needed, such as with high producing cattle, early season pastures, ammonia treated forages, and rations containing non-protein nitrogen.
Place containers in areas that achieve desired supplement intake. Once acceptable intake levels have been achieved, the containers may be moved to underutilized pasture areas to improve grazing distribution and forage utilization. Feed at the rate of one container for every 20-30 head. A minimum of two (2) containers may be necessary in each free stall pen, lot or pasture to ensure proper accessibility. Self-fed consumption will depend on size of the animals fed, seasonal weather conditions, as well as quality, source and availability of other feeds. Cattle typically consume between 0.5 and 1.1 pounds per head per day.
ALL CONSUMPTION FIGURES STATED HERE ARE APPROXIMATE. PROVIDE FREE ACCESS TO CLEAN, FRESH WATER AT ALL TIMES. CRYSTALYX NP-20 SUPPLEMENT CONTAINS NO SALT. PROVIDE SALT FREE CHOICE.
NOTE: CRYSTALYX Brand Supplements deliver a continuous supply of nutrients and are designed as a supplement to the animal's diet. In situations where additional nutrients are needed, contact your feed representative for specific recommendations.
