CRYSTALYX® Brand Supplements offers a wide range of product options that economically deliver nutrients and additives to your cattle. The first version of the BioBarrel® appeared in 2006, composed of small grain straw held together with a soy flour solution. In 2009, added durability was gained with the addition of a blend of straw and wood fiber. Prescient moisture conditions created challenges that were overcome in 2013 with the addition of the WeatherAll® technology that helps maintain the BioBarrel® degradability under wet conditions. Time Savings - no empty container to collect
With the BioBarrel® you are truly done when you put out the container. The BioBarrel® degrades at the rate of product consumption. With other containers, you need to collect the empties and either dispose or recycle them.
Feed Over the Top
In a dairy setting, the BioBarrel® offers an advantage to plastic or steel containers as the free board of the BioBarrel® diminishes as the product is consumed. TMR feed can easily be brushed aside to access the product, as opposed to containers getting filled up with the TMR making it difficult to reach the supplement.

When feeding the BioBarrel® this can be done from a distance. Just drive by the pasture or lot and easily observe how much product is left.
